Narmada, October 30: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the statue of Unity, the tallest statue in the world with a height of 182 metres, on October 31 at 11:30 am. The monument is dedicated to freedom fighter and the first deputy prime minister of India, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel located in Gujarat. After the grand inauguration of the statue tomorrow, it will be open for the common public from November 3. Entry tickets for the adults are priced at Rs 120, while for the children it stands for Rs 60. The ticket includes entry to the Valley of Flower, Museum & Audio Visual Gallery, Memorial, SOU site and Sardar Sarovar Dam. The tickets for observation deck is priced at Rs 350 for the adult as well as children. Bus tickets will cost extra Rs 30 for adults and Rs 1 for children. If you have booked an entry ticket or observation deck ticket, then no need to book bus ticket separately. It will be calculated automatically in the entry and observation deck ticket.

Steps to Book tickets for Statue of Unity:

  1. Log in to the official website of Statue of Unity at www.soutickets.in.
  2. The main page includes booking date, observation deck view tickets, entry tickets and bus tickets.
  3. Select the number of tickets and click on "Proceed to checkout."
  4. In the checkout page confirm the ticket details and click on "Payment."
  5. After clicking on Payment, it will redirect you to "Sign in" page where you have to register your mobile number with the help of OTP.
  6. After this, enter your name, last name and email id.
  7. At last, you will be redirected to the payment page, when you can make the payment and tickets will be sent in your email id and confirmation will be sent in your registered mobile number.

The Statue of Unity can be visited between 9 am and 6 pm. Located at the Sadhu Bet on Narmada river, its real height is 240 metres including the base. It was built in just three and a half year by more than 3000 workers, including more than 300 engineers from infra major Larsen & Toubro (L&T).
