Patna, Sep 12: Bihar's Muzaffarpur Court on Wednesday has ordered to file an FIR against Bollywood superstar Salman Khan and seven other actors after a complaint was filed by an advocate against him and his production 'Loveratri'. The complaint alleged that the title of the film hurts Hindu sentiments. In the last week, Salman Khan had said that his upcoming home production "Loveratri" does not disrespect or demeans any culture.

According to a report by PTI,  several people of the right-wing organisations had objected to the film's title, which they allege distorts the name of a Hindu festival. Salman had said that there are some people, not knowing who they are, have some problem the with title of the film. Terming the title of the film as 'beautiful', Khan said there is nothing more beautiful than love, so it is called 'Loveratri' and it is not demeaning any culture.

"We are making the film with Navaratri in the backdrop. We have made this beautiful film celebrating the music, colour, love and the fun of the festive season. We don't need any publicity like that. Once the film is released those people will know there is nothing," Salman said in an interview on the sidelines of Bigg Boss launch.

It must be noted that the film marks the debut of Salman's brother-in-law Aayush Sharma and Warina Hussain and is set against the backdrop of Navaratri. In December last year, the 51-year-old star took to Twitter to make the announcement of the project, which will be the fifth film under his banner, Salman Khan Films. "Feeling very happy to announce @SKFilmsOfficial productions ka fifth venture #Loveratri introducing @aaysharma directed by Abhiraj Minawala. More details soon," Salman tweeted.
