Mumbai, July 22: General public gathered at Nalasopara station at around 8:25 am on Wednesday as state transport bus services were disrupted. A local train was stopped by commuters from 8.27 am to 8.31 am. Western Railways Chief Public Relation Officer informed that the Situation normalised at 8.45 am.

People gathered at the status created a ruckus demanding that common people be allowed on local trains. In view of the COVID-19 epidemic, the local train facility had been allowed for people working in essential services only. Nalasopara falls under the Vasai-Virar municipality, the number of people infected by the coronavirus in the area has reached 10,186. The state has recorded a total of 3,27,031 cases and 12,276 people have died so far.
