New Delhi, June 28: Railways Minister Piyush Goyal on Friday announced that there will be 50 per cent reservations of 9,000 vacancies that are coming up for the posts of Constables and Sub-Inspectors in the railways will be for women. In the recruitment drive which is expected to begin shortly, a total of 9000 RPF Constables and Sub-Inspectors would be recruited, Goyal said. The announcement from the Railway Minister came after being getting cabinet ministry for the second time in Modi 2.0 government. The announcement for the same was made on August 12 before the Lok Sabha elections 2019. Goyal said that the process of filling job vacancies will begin soon.
