Delhi, August 19: In a shocking incident of road rage in Delhi, a security guard was allegedly stabbed to death in the national capital after his two-wheeler accidentally brushed against an individual. The alleged incident occurred on Sunday, August 18, in Central Delhi's Karol Bagh. Although the police have identified the killer, the accused is yet to be arrested.

The deceased person has been identified as Manoj Sharma (32). According to a report in the Times of India, the incident occurred when Sharma was travelling to a hotel on his scooty for a meal. During the preliminary investigation, cops learned that Sharma was employed as a guard at a security company. People who witnessed the road rage told cops that Manoj was on his way to a hotel in Regarpura when his scooter allegedly touched an individual. Sharma's scooter touched the person, who was later identified as Rishabh. Eyewitnesses said that Rishabh became enraged soon after Sharma's scooter touched him and began a confrontation.

When Sharma resisted the confrontation, Rishabh removed a knife and went on to stab the victim. Cops said that the accused stabbed Sharma in the chest before fleeing from the sport. Soon after the incident, the police were alerted in the early hours of Sunday who said that a man was discovered in Raigarpura, Karol Bagh, lying in a pool of blood. They rushed Sharma to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries during treatment. Meanwhile, the police have sent the body to a mortuary for a postmortem examination. A case of murder has been registered against the accused. The police have formed several teams to nab the culprit.
