New Delhi, June 04: Former Indian Cricketer and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Gautam Gambhir on Monday launched a scathing attack on former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti for slamming Home Minister Amit Shah. The BJP MP from East Delhi coming in support of Shah termed Mehbooba’s comment as “ridiculously naïve”. Gambhir tweeted, “While I am all for a talk-based solution to Kashmir problem but for @mehboobamufti to term Shri @AmitShah's process as 'brute' is 'ridiculously naïve'. History has been witness to our patience and endurance. Gautam Gambhir's reply to Mehbooba Mufti:

Yesterday, the former Jammu and Kashmir CM accused Shah of resorting to “brute force” to “quick fix” the Kashmir issue. Mufti on Monday tweeted, “Since 1947, Kashmir's been looked through the prism of security by successive governments. It's a political problem that needs a political redressal by involving all stakeholders including Pak. Expecting a quick fix through brute force by newly appointed HM is ridiculously naive."

Mehbooba Mufti's comment on Amit Shah:

On Monday, Shah directed security forces to follow zero tolerance policy against terrorism. He headed a meeting to take stock of the internal security situation. The BJP president assumed charge as the Home Minister on June 1. According to reports, this year, over 100 terrorists have been eliminated by security forces in Jammu and Kashmir.
