Rewari Gangrape Survivor Re-Admitted to Hospital After Police Take Her to Crime Spot
Reports informed that the mental state of the victim is believed to have taken a turn for worse. She was taken back to Rewari Civil Hospital for treatment on Thursday.
Chandigarh, September 29: The 19-year-old survivor in the Rewari rape case, who was recently discharged from hospital was readmitted on Thursday as she was traumatised after visiting the crime spot. Reports informed that the mental state of the victim is believed to have taken a turn for worse. After being discharged earlier this week, she was taken back to Rewari Civil Hospital for treatment on Thursday.
The 19-year old was taken to crime spots by the investigative agencies but she complained about her health and the officers took her back to the hospital. The survivor was allegedly gang-raped on September 12 while she was on her way to the coaching centre. She was discharged from the Rewari civil hospital earlier on Thursday. All the three prime accused were arrested earlier this week by the Special Investigation Team (SIT). The accused were identified as Pankaj, Manish, Deendayal and Nishu Phogat. The two prime accused Pankaj and Manish, were arrested by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) on September 23 while the third accused Nishu was arrested on September 16. According to reports, Haryana chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar had earlier offered the victim's family a compensation. The family members of the survivor did not accept the offer but said they wanted justice for their daughter and not compensation. Reports inform that a Jan Sangarsh Committee was formed to help the Rewari gangrape victim get justice and also to help prevent similar incidents from occurring in future.
