New Delhi, January 25: Delhi Traffic Police on Saturday issued a traffic advisory for the Republic Day 2020 Parade on January 26. The R-Day proceeding will start from Vijay Chowk and conclude at Red Fort via Rajpath, 'C'-Hexagon, Tilak Marg, Bahadur Shah Zafarmarg and Netaji Subhash Marg. As the regular traffic will be affected on Saturday and Sunday, the Delhi traffic police have issued a traffic advisory. Traffic will be restricted on Rajpath from From 6 pm on Saturday till the parade is over on January 26. No cross-traffic on Rajpath from 11 pm today at Rafi Marg, Janpath, Mansingh Road till R-Day Parade is over. Metro services will be available for commuters on Republic Day but the entry and exit will remain closed at Udyog Bhawan and Kendriya Sachivalaya from 5 am till 12 pm on Sunday. Similarly, Patel Chowk and Racecourse metro stations will not function from 8:45 am to 12 pm.
On 71st Republic Day celebrations, India has invited Brazil President Jair Bolsonaro as a chief guest. Earlier today, India and Brazil exchanged eleven agreements following talks between PM Narendra Modi and Bolsonaro in New Delhi.
