New Delhi , January 26: As nationalism fervour grips the Indian youth on Republic Day 2019, it is essential to note that the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released notification for 392 job postings in the Indian Army, Indian Air Force (IAF) and the Indian Navy. The online registration for the National Defence Academy (NDA) and Naval Academy (NA) examinations are currently underway. For the NDA, a total of 342 posts are being offered -- 208 for the Army, 42 for the Indian Navy and 92 for IAF. Another 50 vacancies have been listed by the NA. Candidates registering for the examination will have to pay Rs 100 -- either by depositing the same in an SBI branch or paying it through netbanking. The last date of registration is February 4. The applications could be withdrawn between February 8-14.
The minimum educational qualification is 10+2 from a school recognised by a University, or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
The examination will be held on April 21. Ahead of the tests, the examination centre and hall ticket details would be released. Candidates who succeed in clearing the examination, will be called for the interview round.
Aspirants who succeed in clearing all rounds of the examination are scheduled to be inducted on January 2, 2020.
