Ramdas Athawale Targets Rahul Gandhi, Says ‘Former Congress President Cannot Manage His Party, How Would He Govern the Country’

Union Minister Ramdas Athawale on Sunday made a scathing attack on the opposition and said that some people tried to malign Prime Minister Narendra Modi image even after he did good work for five years. Targeting former Congress President Rahul Gandhi, Athawale questioned if he cannot manage his party properly, how he will govern the country.

New Delhi, September 22: Union Minister Ramdas Athawale on Sunday made a scathing attack on the opposition and said that some people tried to malign Prime Minister Narendra Modi image even after he did good work for five years. Targeting former Congress President Rahul Gandhi, Athawale questioned if he cannot manage his party properly, how he will govern the country. Ramdas Athawale Demands BJP-Shiv Sena to Allot 10 Seats to RPI For Contesting in Maharashtra Assembly Elections 2019.

"Even after doing well for five years, some people tried to malign PM Narendra Modi's image. But people had decided that there was no alternative to Modi Ji. If Rahul Gandhi cannot manage his party well, how would he govern the country? As a result, he lost Amethi," said the Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment.

Athawale is the chief of Republican Party of India- Athawale (RPI-A) which is a part of the Bharatiya Janata Party-Shiv Sena alliance in Maharashtra. He represents Maharashtra in the Rajya Sabha, the upper house of the Parliament.

Speaking on Assembly election 2019, Athawale said that National Democratic Alliance (NDA) could win over 240 seats in the 288-member house. RPI(A) president also said that the BJP and Shiv Sena could also leave 10 seats for his party.
