Rajasthan: Trainee IPS Officer's Ex-Fiancee Files Rape Complaint Against Him

The woman mentioned that both of them belonged to the same community and in 2018, he took her to an isolated place and forced her to have a physical relationship with him.

Jodhpur, December 24: An ex-fiancee of an IPS officer undergoing training has filed a complaint of rape against him. According to a Times of India report, the officer is currently undergoing training in Hyderabad after being selected for IPS this year. The man refused to remain in a relationship with the complainant after getting engaged and being selected in IPS.

Jodhpur police are trying to find out the reason why the woman lodged her complaint a year later and also the veracity of the claims made by her. Earlier this month, a man was arrested on Monday in Rajasthan's Tonk area after he confessed  to raping and killing a six-year-old girl a day after she was found dead in her uniform near her village. He lured the girl with toffee and then raped her, and killed her because the girl knew him well and feared getting exposed.
