Jaipur, December 30: In a bizarre murder case reported from Rajasthan, a 30-year-old unemployed man murdered his wife on being asked to look for a job. The accused then lived with his wife's corpse for over two days, till the house was raided by the police and the dead body was recovered.

The incident, reported in Chittorgarh village, has left the locals shocked. Dinesh Maneria, the alleged murderer, was unemployed for a prolonged period -- which was a constant point of dispute between him and the deceased. On Thursday, nagged again to look for a job, Maneria lost his temper and ended up strangulating wife Vaidhya to death. Mala Lakhani Murder Case: Tailor Employed By Delhi-Based Fashion Designer Confessed to The Crime.

Maneria kept his wife's body in a sitting position in one corner of the room. Even as the corpse lied before his eyes, he cooked and ate food along with his two children. Both the boys were warned by him against revealing about the murder to anyone outside.

The matter was brought to the police on Saturday, when Maneria sent his elder son to buy a packet of milk. Enroute, he found his grandfather Chunni Lal and broke down.

While the child did not reveal about the killing of his mother, Lal understood that something was fishy, and rushed to his son's house.

Maneria, however, did not allow him to enter, and threw stones when Lal attempted to force himself inside.

Lal approached the police and narrated the sequence of events. Considering the matter grave, a team led by Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Dinesh Singh raided the house and recovered Vaidhya's body. Maneria was taken into custody, with IPC sections related to murder being invoked against him.
