Jaipur, September 23: A horrifying incident has emerged from Bharatpur in  Rajasthan, wherein a woman, along with her brother-in-law, was arrested for the murder of her own son. The woman and her brother-in-law, who is the uncle of the dead child, were reportedly in an illicit relationship with each other. After murdering the child, they buried his body in a field. They murdered the child more than two years ago and were recently apprehended when the police solved the case.

The incident took place in the year 2021 at Chandanpura village, within the jurisdiction of Rupbas police station. According to reports, the child's father, Gyan Singh, filed a police case when his son, Golu, went missing in February 2021. Following the filing of the complaint, the police launched a search. The police then launched an inquiry to find the perpetrators. However, the police were unable to apprehend the kid's killers and closed the case in December 2021 after filing a FIR of murder. The child's father would not give up and was determined to discover his son's killers. He petitioned the Jaipur High Court for an investigation into the issue. After hearing the case, the Jaipur High Court ordered an investigation by higher authorities.

A team was constituted under Nitiraj Singh, the Circle Officer (CO) of Bayana, and the inquiry was restarted to find the killers of the eight-year-old kid. The police then discovered that the child's uncle and mother were having an affair. The uncle has been identified as Krishna Kant, and the mother as Hemlata. They first denied any role in the child's murder. However, after extensive questioning, they both gave up and confessed to the crime. They said that the child had found them in a compromising position. They strangled Golu to death for fear that their romance would be made public. They later buried the child's body in the field. They have both been arrested for the kid's murder and are being held by police.
