At least 70 children were rescued by locals from a school bus stranded in a flooded underpass in Rajasthan on Thursday.
Jaipur, September 6: At least 70 children were rescued by locals from a school bus stranded in a flooded underpass in Rajasthan on Thursday. The driver tried to drive the bus through the flooded underpass, following which the bus got stuck under the bridge. Locals in the area got help and rescued the children with the help of a ladder.
This is the second such incident in Rajasthan in the past two weeks as heavy rains have wreaked havoc in several parts of the state.

Earlier last month, flooding was reported in many parts including Dausa, where an incident of a school bus carrying students getting stuck on a flooded underpass in Lalsot Subdivision was reported. The students climbed on top of the bus to save themselves.
