Rajasthan Horrifying Video: Woman Tied to Tree, Beaten Brutally With Sticks in Jhunjhunu District, Three Arrested

A boy was seen crying and pleading for his mother while children pluck the woman’s hair and dragged her by her hair to tie her on a tree. Another woman was seen hitting the woman’s feet with a stick while the man ties the victim to the tree.

Jaipur, July 10: In a shocking incident, three men were found allegedly thrashing a woman, dragging her by her hair and tying her to a tree in broad daylight in Jhunjhunu district of Rajasthan. The three men have been arrested on Monday. According to a report by Hindustan Times, a video of the three men that went viral on social media show how the woman was mercilessly beaten using sticks.

In the horrifying video, the woman and three children are seen assaulting the woman, while she screamed for help. The brutal attack took place on July 6. A helpless boy was seen crying and pleading for his mother while children pluck the woman’s hair and dragged her by her hair to tie her to a tree. Another woman was seen hitting the woman’s feet with a stick while the man ties the victim to the tree.

According to a report by HT, Manish Agarwal, Jhunjhunu’s superintendent of police, informed that the assault was the fallout of a land dispute between brothers Dayaram Jat and Maniram Jat. These people are residents of Bilwa village near Nawalgarh. The report further informed that Dayaram was visiting Nawalgarh town when Maniram started driving a tractor on a disputed agricultural land, prompting Dayaram’s wife to protest.

The report further informs that Dayaram filed a police case against Maniram and his family, including two minors. Meanwhile, Rajasthan State Women’s Commission chairperson Suman Sharma took cognizance of the case and sought a report from the district police after the video began circulating on social media.
