New Delhi, November 1: Congress may win 110-120 seats in the upcoming Rajasthan assembly elections 2018, according to the opinion poll results by Times Now-CNX. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is predicted to bag 70-80 seats, whereas the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) is projected to win 1-3 seats, the opinion poll results suggested. Other parties may win 7-9 seats in Rajasthan assembly polls.

When it comes to popular choice for the chief ministerial post, Rajasthan Congress chief Sachin Pilot seems leading the race with a slight margin against incumbent chief minister Vasundhara Raje. Former Rajasthan chief minister and senior Congress leader Ashok Gehlot was the choice of 15.56 respondents. Minister of State for Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore got backing of 11.61 per cent. Elections on 200 seats of Rajasthan assembly will be held on December 7. The opinion poll was conducted in 67 constituencies. In each constituency, 120 samples were used. 8,040 respondents (4,250 males and 3,790 females) participated in the survey. The BJP won 163 seats, whereas the Congress bagged 21 in the 2013 Rajasthan assembly polls. The BSP bagged three seats, while 13 seats went to other parties including independents.
