Congress leader Rahul Gandhi recently shared a video showcasing his Jiu-Jitsu skills during the east-west Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra as he extended National Sports Day 2024 greetings. In the video, Gandhi is seen conducting martial arts sessions with children. The video shows Gandhi, who holds a black belt in Aikido and a blue belt in Jiu-Jitsu, who can be heard explaining martial arts techniques to the young participants. The term “dojo” refers to a training hall or school for martial arts. "Jiu-Jitsu practice became part of our routine in our camp during the Bharat Jodo Justice Yatra. Through the art of this Martial Art we tried to explain the youth attention, non-violence, self-defense and their power. These gentle art among youth can easily become a tool for a sensitive and safe society. This is the beauty of sports - no matter what sports you play, it makes you strong both physically and mentally. Best wishes to all of you on National Sports Day," Gandhi wrote in Hindi. The two-month Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra began in Manipur and concluded in Mumbai. This initiative followed nearly a year after his Bharat Jodo Yatra from Kanyakumari to Kashmir, which took place between September 2022 and January 2023. Priyanka Gandhi Highlights Rahul Gandhi’s Efforts To Address Issues Faced by DTC Bus Conductors, Drivers (See Pics and Video).
