Dungarpur, Sep 20: Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Thursday addressed a rally in poll-bound Rajasthan where he coined a new slogan against Prime Minister Narendra Modi - Gali Gali Me Shor Hain, Hindustan Ka Chowkidar Chor Hai. Interestingly, a similar slogan, Gali Gali Me Shor Hai, Rajiv Gandhi chor hai, was used when Rahul Gandhi’s father's name was cropped up in Bofors scam.

Taking a dig at PM Modi, Rahul Gandhi said that his party will not make false promises like putting Rs 15 lakh in every citizen's bank account. Gandhi was referring to Modi's promise ahead of the 2014 general elections to bring back black money stashed abroad and deposit Rs 15 lakh each in the bank accounts of people out of that money. Arun Jaitley Calls Rahul Gandhi 'Clown Prince', Says Congress President Lied on Rafale Deal, NPAs.

Criticising the Modi government's flagship schemes like 'Make in India', the Congress leader said: "everything in India is made by China". "I want to see a day when at the back of your mobile phone it is written 'Made in Rajasthan', 'Made in Dungarpur'," Gandhi said. Referring to Modi's 'Mann Ki Baat', Gandhi said: "The Prime Minister only talks of his 'Mann ki Baat'... he is not interested in our 'Mann ki Baat'."

Comparing the employment rates in China and India, Gandhi blamed the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance government for the conditions in this country. "Only 450 jobs are given in India, whereas China creates 50,000 jobs a day." He said that the strength of India lies in listening to the views of every citizen, irrespective of their religion, caste or status in society.
