Earlier Today, French envoy also told that there is no scandal and Modi government made a good decision by purchasing the aircraft. Talking to media, Alexandre Ziegler said, "I don’t see any scandal. What I see is a very good aircraft which has been purchased by Government of India and which comes probably to fly here in the sky of Bengaluru and which will join Indian Air Force within 6 months.”

The opposition has been accusing Modi government of extending benefits to businessman Anil Ambani by buying overpriced Rafale fighter jets. The opposition-led by Congress has been presenting the Rafale deal as their political campaign for 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
