New Delhi, November 13: The first look of the Rafale jet which will be delivered to India soon and latest to join the arsenal of the Indian Air Force (IAF) has surfaced online. News agency ANI, shared the video of the jet in action from the Istre-Le Tube Airbase in France. This is the first time that the video of the Rafale jet that India will get has been shared.
The first look of the Rafale jet comes even as Dassault Aviation Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Eric Trappier denied the charge of choosing industrialist Anil Ambani's Reliance Defence Ltd as offset partner in Rafale fighter jet deal on the "request of the Narendra Modi government".
Instead, Trappier claimed that the choice was consciously made by them without any pressure from the Indian side. Rafale Row: 'I Don't Lie, Anil Ambani's Firm Was Our Choice', Says Dassault CEO Eric Trappier in Stinging Retort to Rahul Gandhi.

In a stinging retort to Congress president Rahul Gandhi -- who has accused the BJP regime of forcing the Dassault CEO of issuing false statements before the media-- Trappier said," I don't lie. The truth I declared before and the statements I made are true. I don't have a reputation of lying."
On Monday, the Centre submitted the Supreme Court with details of the Rafale deal along with the pricing of the deal, as instructed by the apex court earlier. The purchase of the French Rafale fighter jet was in conformity with the process laid down in the Defence Procurement Procedure of 2013 set during the UPA rule said the Centre.
