Lucknow, November 26: A video of Lucknow's Raebareli jail inmates consuming alcohol has gone viral on Social Media. In the video, criminals Anshu Dixit and members of his gang are seen openly consuming liquor and using cell phones. One of the inmates was also heard instructing someone on phone about bribe Rs 10,000 to the jailor and Rs 5,000 to the Deputy jailor. In the video, inmates are seen enjoying snacks, cigarettes and liquor. Some sources claimed that video was shot in barrack number 10 of Raebareli jail. Few bullets were also seen scattered in the floor as they flocked together inside the barrack.

After the incident, the four inmates were shifted to other jails. An FIR has been registered against them under the section of Indian Penal Code (IPC) and Prisons act, said Principal Secretary Home Arvind Kumar. During the raids, police recovered four mobiles and sim card. Those suspended include Superintendent of Police Pramod Kumar Shukla and three jail authorities.
