Punjab: Massive Fire Breaks Out in Trimurti Hosiery Mills in Ludhiana

Chandigarh, August 7: A massive fire broke out at a mill in Punjab on Wednesday. According to a tweet by ANI, the blaze erupted in Trimurti Hosiery Mills in Ludhiana's Sunder Nagar. Reports inform that about 50 fire tenders are present at the spot. No reports of casualties have been reported so far. Early visuals showed smoke billowing from the mill. More details awaited.

On Tuesday, another massive fire was reported from Delhi in a multi-storey building in Zakir Nagar.  According to the latest ANI update, six people were killed and more than 11 people were left injured in the incident.

Earlier this month, a minor fire broke out in a building in Dwarka where an examination was being held, Delhi Fire Service said. No injury was reported. It is suspected that a short circuit in the electricity metre of the building led to the fire, the official added.
