Chandigarh, April 25: In a shocking incident, a 15-year-old girl was burnt in Pantra area of Patiala district in Punjab after being allegedly murdered. The local police on Wednesday recovered her body from a nearby village.

Briefing more, the police said the minor girl was allegedly abducted on Monday and her partially burnt body was later recovered in Chatha Gobindpura village on Wednesday. Adding more, the police officer said that the kin of the minor lodged a missing complaint at Panera police station after the minor girl didn't return to home.  Rajasthan: 12 Year Old Allegedly Lured With Sweets, Raped By Her Father's Friend. 

Soon after the complaint, filed by her father, the police arrested two men. Earlier, the father of the minor had mentioned that her daughter works in a boutique. Adding more, he had accused Deepu and Rashpal who were acquainted with his daughter and often followed and harassed her. The deceased's father had even stated that though being warned several times, these two people continued to harass her.

With the recovery of victim's dead body, police have sent it for autopsy in order to ascertain whether it was subject to physical torture and rape before being murdered. Since the situation is tensed in the area, police have deployed extra force and keeping a vigilance.
