Pune, October 14: Pune residents are likely to experience a water cut on Thursday, October 17, due to maintenance and electrical works at various water treatment plants in the city. Besides the water cut on Thursday, most of the areas in Maharashtra's Pune will experience a delayed or low-pressure water supply on Friday, October 17, too.
List of Areas To Be Affected by Water Cut
The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) confirmed the news. Nandkishor Jagtap, the chief engineer of PMC's water department, issued a statement regarding the same, reports FPJ. The stations likely to be affected by the scheduled maintenance and electrical works include several units in Wadgaon Dhayari, Warje, Pune Cantonment, SNDT, and the Parvati area. Water will be cut on Thursday, October 17, in Peth areas, Koregaon Park, Kothrud, Kharadi, Shivajinagar, Bibvewadi, BT Kawade Road, Swargate, Phursungi, Hadapsar, and Solapur Road. In addition to the above-mentioned areas, both Pune and Khadki cantonments will also experience water cuts. Additionally, areas such as Aundh, Bopodi, Karve Road, Pune University, Law College, Himali Society, Pashan, Bhugaon, Bavdhan, Sus Road, Bhusari Colony and other areas will also face water cuts on October 17.
