Pune, June 17: Mayuri Chaitanya Modak-Pawar, a social media influencer known by her online alias "Maau", has been reported missing from her residence in Rasta Peth since June 15. Mayuri was initially reported missing by her uncle Mangal Dilip Pawar, prompting an intensive search by the Vishrambag police. Mayuri, who enjoys 1.3 million followers on Instagram, had left behind a troubling suicide note without disclosing any details beforehand.

As reported by the Pune Mirror, the 26-year-old influencer Mayuri initially rose to fame on TikTok, amassing millions of followers before the platform's ban in India prompted her to transition to Instagram. Under the handle "Maau," she continued to maintain a significant online presence and later ventured into entrepreneurship with her clothing business, "Durga Group." The alarm was raised by her 40-year-old uncle, who had discovered a suicide note allegedly left behind by Mayuri. Mangal Dilip Pawar consequently filed a missing person complaint with the Vishrambag Police Station later that evening.
