Pune Shocker: Principal Forces Minor Boy to Watch Porn, Case Filed Under POCSO Act
According to a report by Hindustan Times, apart from the Principal, the school counsellor was also involved in the case who apparently asked the boy to remain quiet about the incident.
Pune, Sep 15: In what is believed to be a disturbing case of child sex abuse, a Principal in Pune forced a 14-year old student to watch porn and then tried to molest him. Reports inform that the boy, who is a class 9 student was so traumatised that he has now refused to resume studies at the school. According to a report by Hindustan Times, apart from the Principal, the school counsellor was also involved in the case who apparently asked the boy to remain quiet about the incident.
Police have informed that a case of child sex abuse was filed against a school principal. Meanwhile, investigators said that the principal forcibly showed the porn video to the victim and tried to sexually abuse him. The police have invoked sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012, (POCSO Act) against the two accused.
The incident came to light after the victim went home and narrate the ordeal to his parents after which a complaint was lodged with the police. The report further informed that when the minor boy went to the counsellor for help, he was suppressed and was asked to keep silent and not to reveal anything to anyone about the incident. Investigators said that the principal forcibly showed the porn video to the victim.
In another similar incident earlier this month, an IT engineer working with a famous firm at Hinjawadi has been arrested by Wakad police for molesting a six-year-old girl. Reports inform that the victim resides next to his home. According to a report by Pune Mirror, the police informed that the man identified as Chetan Krishna Rao Kamale is a resident of Thergaon. The report states that Kamale lured the minor with chocolates and took the out by luring her with chocolates, then abused her in a decidedly unnatural manner.
