Pune, July 24: In a tragic incident, a man in Pune was abducted and killed on Tuesday after a scuffle broke out with locals over urinating outside a bar. Reports quote Police saying that the 24-year-old man was allegedly kidnapped and killed after a tiff in the Pimpri-Chinchwad area of Pune. According to a report by Hindustan Times, Pimpri-Chinchwad Police have booked four men and detained one for allegedly killing the man in Radhika Chowk area of Pimpri. The victim has been identified as Hitesh Mulchandani, a resident of Pimpri area. The gang of criminals abducted him and took him to a narrow lane and slit his throat. His body found in an open ground near Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) on Tuesday morning. The report inform that Mulchandani was a friend of Kunal Bar and Restaurant’s owner Rohit Sukheja. Following the incident, Sukheja lodged a complaint with the police.

The complaint said that Mulchandani was at the bar with a friend when Khan turned up at 2am to buy alcohol. Khan then went out to urinate in front of the bar and when the hotel owner and few others tried to stop him, an altercation broke out. As the fight turned violent, the five shoved Mulchandani into a white car and drove away. The victim’s body was discovered later, stated the police.

As soon as the incident was reported, police rushed to the spot to take a stock of the situation. A case under sections 302 (murder), 364 (kidnapping or abducting in order to murder), 326 (voluntarily causing grievous hurt by dangerous weapons or means), 504 (insult with an intention of provoking breach of peace) , 201 (destruction of evidence) and 34 (common intention) of Indian Penal Code (IPC) has been registered against the five men at Pimpri police station.
