Mumbai, July 29: A day after the report arrived that 28-year-old woman and her three children were found hanging inside their house in Bhosri area of Pimpri Chinchwad in Pune, the latest shocker arrived that both the minor girls were rape victims, confirmed police on Monday.

According to the police reports, it was confirmed that the two girls - aged 9 and 7 years - were rape victims. Police have registered a case and are currently investigating the matter. Also, police have arrested one accused. As per to the previous details, police were suspecting that Fatima Bagwan, hanged her children before killing herself apparently due to financial hardships. Earlier on Sunday, Police found Fatima hanging inside a room, while the children were found hanging from a single hook in another room. The incident came to light around 4:30 pm when Fatima's fruit-seller husband Akram Bagwan returned from work.
