New Delhi, February 17: Pakistan's Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Fawad Hussain Chaudhry on Saturday said that he doubts whether the terrorist attack in Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday was carried out by Jaish-e-Mohammed or not. The statement from the Pakistan minister comes after the JeM claimed the responsibility for the attack, in which 40 Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawans were killed. Names and Photos of 40 CRPF Bravehearts Martyred in JeM Terror Strike in J&K.

“These organisations are dead, I seriously doubt their ability to do something like this. They are well under control,” Chaudhry, Minister of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf told The Indian Express in an interview. He also said that Pakistan is not involved in the episode. “Even as an observer, not as a minister, I think this (that Pakistan government is involved) is unlikely. Pakistan has nothing to do with it,” said Chaudhry. JeM Releases Terrorist Aadil Ahmed’s Photo Who Carried Out Fidayeen Strike.

Fawad further added that Pakistan would initiate action against anyone if India shares evidence. On Friday, India summoned Sohail Mahmood, Pakistani High Commissioner to India, and issued demarche over the killing of CRPG Jawans. The Indian government also initiated diplomatic actions against Pakistan following the Pulwama terror attack.

In the deadly attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district, 40 CRPF personnel were killed and five critically injured, when a suicide bomber rammed his SUV filled with explosives to a military convoy. The responsibility of the attack was claimed by Masood Azhar's Jaish-E-Mohammed.
