Jammu, June 29: All the three terrorists have been killed by the security forces in the Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama encounter. The encounter was underway from early afternoon on Friday and went on for around five hours. Media reports also claimed that the terrorists, who were hiding in the building, were also involved in the killing of Rising Kashmir Editor Shujaat Bukhari.
According to media reports, the ongoing encounter between terrorists and security forces in Jammu & Kashmir's Pulwama district has resulted in the killing of terrorist Nabid Jatt. The Jammu & Kashmir Police in a press conference held on Thursday had named Nabid Jatt as one of the four suspects in the Shujaat Bukhari murder case. Sajjad Gul, Azad Dadda, Muzaffar Ahmad, and Nabid Jatt were the four suspects named by Kashmir Range IG SP Pani on Thursday and added that LeT operatives were behind the murder of the Rising Kashmir Editor Shujaat Bukhari.
News channel Times Now reported that the killers of Shujaat Bukhari, whose photos were shared by Jammu & Kashmir police in the press conference on Thursday, might be trapped in the building:

According to a recent tweet by ANI, the encounter took place in Chatapora where terrorists have reportedly been trapped in a residential building. More details on the same are awaited.

Earlier today, security forces gunned down an unidentified militant in an encounter in the forests of Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir. Currently, the identity and group affiliation of the slain militant is not known. The ceasefire that was brought during the eve of Ramzan, ceased to exist after the BJP broke the alliance and government with Mehbooba Mufti led PDP leading to Governor's rule in Jammu & Kashmir.
