This will be the second time that France will move such a proposal at the UN, according to news agency PTI. Earlier in 2017, the US, supported by France and the United Kingdom, had moved a proposal to ban Azhar. But, the proposal was blocked by China, which holds the veto power in the UN Security Council.
This comes after the Pakistan based terror outfit Jaish-E-Mohammed had claimed responsibility for a suicide bomb attack on CRPF (Central Reserve Police Force) convoy in Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir, which killed 40 jawans.
