Mumbai, December 31: In a spine-chilling incident, a pregnant woman was allegedly gang-raped by three men in Mumbai's Kurla area and Gujarat's Valsad. The survivor, who hails from Bhopal, had come to Mumbai after main accused Shubham Jadhav, 23, offered her a job of a beautician in Bandra. "The survivor befriended Jadhav while playing PUBG," a police officer told Mid-day. According to the report, the survived met Jadhav while playing PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG), an online multiplayer battle royale game. The accused offered a job to the survivor and invited her to Mumbai. When the woman reached Dadar railway station, Jadhav picked her up and took her to a hotel in Kurla.

The survivor told mid-day that Jadav spiked her food following which she lost consciousness. "When I woke up, Jadhav was sitting in front of me and I had no clothes on," she said. The accused recorded a video and threatened to make it go viral if she told anyone about it, the woman said.

In her First Information Report (FIR), the survivor alleged that she was taken to Valsad on October 1. The next day October 2, she was allegedly raped Jadav's two friends.

In Bhopal, the survivor's husband started looking for her and filed a missing person case. Police tracked her down to Valsad. But, when they tried to call her, Jadav noticed it and set her free. The woman reunited with her family and narrated her ordeal. Meanwhile, a probe has been launched. No arrest has been made so far.
