Prayagraj: 2 Boys Found Dead, Police Suspect Murder

Both the victims aged 20, were found dead under mysterious circumstances and attempts were made to burn their bodies, says reports.

Lucknow, November 13: The dead bodies of two boys were found in Uttar Pradesh's Prayagraj (Allahabad) district in the wee hours of Tuesday morning. Both the victims are suspected to be around 20 years of age. The police reached the venue and has launched an investigation into the case. Reports say that attempts were made to burn the bodies of the victims as well. The bodies have been sent for autopsy and the police is awaiting the report in order to know the cause of death. Liquor bottle and other items were also found from the crime spot in the ANI video.

The Yogi Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh renamed Allahabad as Prayagraj ahead of the Kumbh Mela, which is set to begin in January 2019. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had announced last month that Allahabad will be renamed ahead of the Ardh Kumbh Mela in January next year and subsequently Allahabad was renamed as Prayagraj.
