In a poll battle, there were two Pragya Thakurs in Bhopal. One is Sadhvi Pragya, while the other one is also her namesake Pragya Thakur, an independent candidate. Hence, Sadhvi reached to Pragya Thakur and invited her to her residence. During the meet, Sadhvi requested Pragya Thakur to take her nomination back. Pragya understood the situation and did what Sadhvi had requested her. As a sign of honour, Sadhvi also gifted Pragya a shawl.

Meanwhile, the Bhopal constituency will go into the poll in the sixth phase of Lok Sabha election on May 12. In Madhya Pradesh along with Bhopal, Morena, Gwalior, Bhind, Guna, Vidisha and Sagar will go into the poll. The counting of votes will take place on May 23.
