New Delhi, July 29: Hacker Elliot Anderson, who embarrassed the chief of Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) by leaking his personal information through his Aadhaar no., has now thrown a challenge to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Anderson, who describes himself as a French security researcher on Twitter, tagged PM Modi on social media and asked him to disclose his Aadhaar number.

This comes a day after TRAI chief R S Sharma was left embarrassed after he published his Aadhaar no. on Twitter.

Anderson accepted his challenge and within few hours, posted the personal details of Sharma, including his mobile number, date of birth, alternate phone number and PAN card details.

Not only the details of Sharma, Anderson also obtained the phone number of his secretary.

In another tweet, the portion of which was blackened out, the hacker said he even obtained a photograph of Sharma with his wife and daughter.

"If your phone numbers, address, dob, bank accounts and others personal details are easily found on the Internet you have no #privacy. End of the story (sic)," the hacker added.

The purported breach of privacy, as illustrated by Anderson, raised concern over the government's move to make Aadhaar mandatory for availing all schemes, services and subsidies. Critics claim the mandatary usage of the UIDAI card number could not only breach the right to privacy, but may also allow the government to create a surveillance state.
