Mumbai, April 26: Ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s election rally in Bandra-Kurla Complex on Friday, the Mumbai traffic police have issued an advisory for the rally, reported Mumbai Mirror. According to the advisory, roads adjacent to MMRDA ground, JSW building between Tata Power building up to the fire station will be closed. Similarly, there will be no entry for vehicles from Diamond Junction up to Asian Heart junction. The roads will be closed till Friday midnight. Polling of six Lok Sabha seats in Mumbai will take place in the fourth phase on April 29. The seats going for polls are Mumbai North, Mumbai North-West, Mumbai North-Central, Mumbai North-East, Mumbai South and Mumbai South-Central.  Apart from these seats in Mumbai, the polling will be held in 11 other Lok Sabha constituencies including Thane, Kalyan, Bhiwandi and Malegaon of Maharashtra in the fourth phase.

In Maharashtra, the Lok Sabha elections are taking place in four phases. In phase 1, voting took place on seven seats of Maharashtra. In phase 2, voting took on ten seats of the state, 14 seats went for polls in the third phase.  The counting of votes will be held on May 23. In these elections too, the BJP and the Shiv Sena have formed a pre-poll alliance in Maharashtra. The two parties announced a 25-23 seat sharing alliance in favour of the saffron party.
