Pema Khandu of BJP to Take Oath as Arunachal Pradesh CM on May 29, Informs Kiren Rijiju

Four days after BJP secured a thumping majority in the recently concluded Assembly Elections in Arunachal Pradesh, incumbent Union Minister Kiren Rijiju informed that BJP Pema Khandu would sworn-in as state Chief Minister on May 29.

Itanagar, May 27: Four days after Bharatiya Janata Party secured a thumping majority in the recently concluded Assembly Elections in Arunachal Pradesh, incumbent Union Minister Kiren Rijiju informed that BJP Pema Khandu would sworn-in as state Chief Minister on May 29.

Congratulating Khandu for being chosen as the unanimous choice as leader of BJP Legislature Party, Union Minister Kiren Rijiju, "I extend my gratitude to all the elected BJP MLAs of Arunachal Pradesh for unanimously selecting Pema Khandu ji as the leader of BJP Legislature Party. Hearty congratulations to Pema Khandu ji who will be sworn-in as the Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh on 29th May 2019." In the recent Assembly election, BJP won 41 seats, while Janta Dal (United) won in 7 constituencies. National People's Party secured 5 seats, Congress won four and People's Party of Arunachal managed to win just 1 seat in the 60-member state Assembly.
