Patna, December 5: In a shocking incident, a High Court lawyer Jitendra Kumar was shot dead in Rajnanshi Nagar in Patna on Wednesday. The district police have reached to the spot and have cordoned the area.

Similar incident took place in October when an additional session court judge Krishan Kanaty Sharma’s wife and son were shot by the security guard at the Arcadia Market in Gurgaon's Sector 49 in Haryana. The wife of the judge died at the hospital, while the son died a day later. Police investigating the matter had said that the guard shot the duo due to ‘sudden provocation’. The perpetrator Mahipal Singh was arrested later.
