Bihar, August 21: In a heartwarming turn of events, a grieving father was granted a miracle when he heard his missing daughter's voice on the phone, uttering the words, "Papa, main abhi zinda hoon (Papa, I am alive)." The revelation came after a mistaken identification led to the cremation of a body believed to be that of the missing daughter. According to the Times of India report, Anshu Kumari, a resident of the Akbarpur police station area in Purnia, Bihar, disappeared without a trace a month ago.
Despite exhaustive searches, her family was unable to locate her. Tragically, last week, the police retrieved the body of a girl from a local canal. Though her face was unrecognisable due to bloating, the family identified the body as Anshu's based on her clothing. The distraught father, Binod Mandal, was too overcome with shock to complete the cremation rituals, leaving the task to his grandfather.
