The report stated that the Adai waterfall is a popular picnic spot among the local residents, drawing crowds, especially during the monsoon season. Yet, the dam's water level experiences rapid surges amidst heavy rainfall, posing significant risks. In anticipation of the monsoon's arrival, police took the precautionary step of prohibiting access to numerous waterfalls and initiated patrolling to fend off tourists. The police, however, revealed that this particular group avoided advisory and went to the waterfall from the hill's rear, evading the regular patrols.
