Palghar, August 6: An investigation has been launched into a severe case of food poisoning that affected over 64 girls from a government residential school for tribals in Palghar district's Dahanu taluka. According to a report by the Times of India, the incident unfolded in the early hours of Tuesday after the students experienced symptoms of nausea and vomiting. The authorities have begun analyzing food and water samples from the affected meal to pinpoint the source of contamination.

These samples include the rice and lentils served during dinner on Monday night, as well as water from the same meal.
