Pakistani F16s Scrambled to Retaliate Turned Back Seeing Size of Indian Formation, Says Report

New Delhi, February 26: Hours after the Indian Air Force (IAF) conducted airstrikes on the Pakistani soil across the LoC in Muzaffarabad, Balakot and Chakothi destroying JeM terror camps to avenge the Pulwama terror attack, details about the scale of attack emerge indicating the intensity of the operations by the Indian Air Force (IAF). In the latest detail, reports say that Pakistani F16s were scrambled to retaliate against IAF Mirage 2000s but turned back due to the size of Indian formation, said Western Air Command coordinated operation to ANI. Sources also say that one of the targets destroyed by IAF Mirage jets was in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa area, which shows how deep the IAF reached to destroy terror camps. The air strikes in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa region were based on locations provided by on ground intelligence sources.

12 Mirage 2000 jets took part in the operation that dropped 1000 Kg bombs on terror camps across LOC, completely destroying it. At 03: 30 hours on 26th February, 2019, a group of Mirage 2000 Indian Fighter jets struck a major terrorist camp across the LoC and completely destroyed it.
