Pakistan Intruder Apprehended By BSF In Punjab, Shifted To Hospital

A young Pakistani national who was found by the BSF troopers in the Dera Baba Nanak sector of Punjab's Gurdaspur district on Wednesday morning, is being treated at the Guru Nanak Dev Hospital in Punjab's Amritsar.

Amritsar, February 20: A young Pakistani national who was found by the Border Security Force (BSF) troopers in the Dera Baba Nanak sector of Punjab's Gurdaspur district on Wednesday morning, is being treated at the Guru Nanak Dev Hospital in Punjab's Amritsar, reported ANI. Dr Rakesh Sharma, who is operating the patient in Guru Nanak Dev Hospital said," The patient was brought here by BSF, she has injuries in rectum and vagina, the patient is in shock. The cause of the injuries to be ascertained". Police said, "BSF got in touch with us in the morning. News agency IANS had earlier reported that, the woman tried to enter India along the international border between India and Pakistan near the Bangar border outpost of BSF. She was given multiple warnings to stop and go back but she kept walking, forcing troopers to fire at her as a security protocol. The injured woman was found inside the India territory and was rushed to the hospital.
