Pakistan Army Deploys SSG Commandos Along Sir Creek Area in Gujarat for Anti-India Activities: Government Sources

The Pakistan Army has deployed its Special Service Group (SSG) commandos along Sir Creek which divides Gujarat from the Sindh province of Pakistan. According to government sources of ANI, the post where the Pakistani SSG commandos have been deployed is known as the Iqbal-Bajwa.

New Delhi, August 21: Continuing its Anti-India activities, the Pakistan Army has deployed its Special Service Group (SSG) commandos along Sir Creek which divides Gujarat from the Sindh province of Pakistan. According to government sources of ANI, the post where the Pakistani SSG commandos have been deployed is known as the Iqbal-Bajwa. Pakistan Violates Ceasefire in Sunderbani Sector of Rajouri District; Indian Army Retaliates Strongly.

The SSG commandos may be used for anti-India activities in the region, the sources said. On August 17, Ahmed Khan, a subedar with Pakistan Army's SSG was killed by the Indian forces in Nakyal sector of the LoC when he was facilitating cross border infiltration to India. He was one of the Pakistani Army officials who arrested Wing Commanded Abhinandan.

Even as Pakistan is facing massive international pressure over tackling terrorism, its Army continues to push infiltrators across the LoC to carry out nefarious activities in India.

Pakistan who has been unhappy with the abrogation of Article 370 is trying to create trouble in the valley. The number of ceasefire violations by Pakistan has been increasing since the announcement of scrapping Article 370. On Tuesday, one Indian Army soldier was martyred in the ceasefire violation in the Krishna Ghati sector in Jammu and Kashmir.
