One Held For 'Spying' Near Army Camp in Jaisalmer, Confesses Visiting Pakistan in 2018
Rajasthan police have caught a man near Army camp in Jaisalmer on suspicion of spying.
Jaisalmer, March 9: In a major breakout, Rajasthan police on Saturday have caught a man near Army camp in Jaisalmer on suspicion of spying. The person has been identified as Kadar Khan and was caught while he was roaming near their campus. According to the police, Khan had confessed that he went to Pakistan in 2018 when he was questioned.
Informing more about the arrest, SHO Ramgarh police station KS Dhillon said, “Kadar Khan, was brought to the police station after he was found roaming near their campus. He has confessed that he went to Pakistan in 2018. Officials have been informed. He's being questioned.” Indian National, Allegedly Operating As Pakistani Spy, Arrested by BSF in Ferozepur.
Earlier on Monday, the state police have detained three people and seized mobile phones for allegedly clicking pictures and recording videos of a BSF patrol team near the international border in Jaisalmer city.
Identified as Sarjeet (55) and his son, Rajpal (25), from Sri Ganganagar, and Mitthu Lal Bheel (30), of the Mohangarh area in Jaisalmer, the Border Security Force (BSF) personnel detained these people on Sunday night at the PTM crossing area and handed over to the police. They were later handed over to the police, said Mohangarh police station in-charge Amar Singh Ratnu.
Ratnu further added that the accused had attempted to flee on being spotted recording videos of the BSF team, but were intercepted and detained. Police are examining their mobile phones and interrogating them.
