Odisha Nude Video Case: Man Forces Woman to Strip Naked on Video Call, Threatens to Make Her Obscene Videos Viral

Bhubneshwar, September 10: On Saturday, local cyber police detained a 24-year-old man from the Puri district for reportedly forcing an online female friend to strip naked during a video call, filming the incident, and threatening to make the clip viral. According to the police, the accused, Sunil Kumar Bhoi, and the 24-year-old victim became friends after connecting on Instagram four months ago. He then made a commitment to marry the woman.

Sunil then started asking the woman to strip during routine video conversations with her. The demands grew after the woman first consented to do it a few times. The woman then filed a complaint to the cyber police on September 4. Sunil was taken into custody in the Puri district's Brahamagiri police station from the Dharmakirti village.

Previously, a man was detained by the Karnataka police after becoming friends with a young girl on social media, filming her naked video, and blackmailing her. The Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act led to Mustafa's detention. The accused made friends with the kid after meeting her on Instagram, according to the authorities. After taking screenshots, he began extorting money from the girl. His arrest was made possible by the girl who reported him to the Gangavathy police station.
