Bhubaneswar, October 20: In a horrific incident in Odisha, a man allegedly molested a woman in broad daylight in Bhubaneswar. The shocking incident took place on Thursday, October 19, after he was angry over the constant barking of the woman's pet dog. Police officials said the accused not only molested the woman but also disrobed her after being upset with her dog's constant barking.
According to a report in the Times of India, the accused did not stop there and even went on to attack the canine with a sharp-edged weapon, thereby seriously injuring the animal. The incident came to light when the woman approached Capital Police Station and lodged a complaint against the accused. She also demanded his immediate arrest. In her complaint, the 23-year-old woman claimed that accused Chandan Nayak and his father Tuna started shouting outside her home on Thursday afternoon. The woman alleged that the duo hurled abuses at her and even asked her to silence her pet dog when she went to inquire. Things turned ugly when she told them it was not possible.
