New Delhi, March 4: National Students' Union of India (NSUI) workers on Monday stopped a metro train at the Vishvavidalaya metro station in Delhi. The NSUI members took this step demanding concession in the metro fare for Delhi University students. According to reports, the students jumped on the metro tracks and raised anti-Modi and anti-Kejriwal slogans. The students were also demanding metro passes for students. According to the visuals shared by news agency ANI, NSUI members can be seen stopping a metro and demanding fare concessions. In the footage, students can be seen anti-Modi and anti-Kejriwal posters which reads: "Modi Kejriwal Shame Shame." According to DMRC (Delhi Metro Rail Corporation), protesters, members of the student's wing of the Congress, were swiftly removed from metro tracks and handed over to police at around 12:50 pm. Thirteen protesters were detained and brought to Kashmere Gate Metro police station. Meanwhile, the Metro services were regulated and now functionally normally.
