North India Fog: Railway Services Affected, 15 Delhi-Bound Trains Delayed Due to Low Visibility

At least 15 Delhi-bound trains were delayed by several hours due to severe fog in several parts of northern India on Tuesday, officials said.

New Delhi, January 14: At least 15 Delhi-bound trains were delayed by several hours due to severe fog in several parts of northern India on Tuesday, officials said.

According to northern railway officials, the Malda-Delhi Farakka Express was delayed by 6 hours, followed by Chennai-New Delhi GT Express which is running behind its schedule by 5 hours.

Even the Azamgarh-Delhi Kaifiyat Express was delayed by 4 hours and 45 minutes, Katihar-Amritsar Express delayed by 4 hours, New Jalpaiguri-Udaipur Express and Puri-New Delhi Purishottam Express were running behind schedule by 3 hours and 30 minutes.

The Barauni-New Delhi Vaishali Express was also delayed by 3 hours and 15 minutes followed by Howrah-New Delhi Poorva Express and Rajgir-New Delhi Sharmjeevi Express running late by 2 hours and 30 minutes.

On Monday, at least 15 Delhi-bound trains were delayed due to severe fog in several parts of northern India.
