New Delhi, August 14: In what is believed to be an act of brutality, a woman engineer on Monday lodged a sexual harassment complaint with the Noida police alleging that she was molested by 43 employees of her company for over a year. According to a report by India Today, the woman, who is in her mid-20s is a resident of Ghaziabad and has been working with IT company in Noida since 2016.

The report further informed that Sector 58 police of Noida has named 21 people in an FIR and 22 others have been mentioned as unknown since the complainant did not know their names. According to a report by India Today, the victim informed the Police that some of her colleagues harassed her and made sexual advances in the office since November 2017. She also alleged that they had posted objectionable things about her on a WhatsApp group.

The victim further said that she was asked to sleep with some of her colleagues too. "A few of my colleagues also showed their private parts to me and wanted to make sexual advances at me. I have complained to the women commission, CM Yogi Adityanath and CM Arvind Kejriwal but nothing has happened," the FIR was quoted in the report.

Police said that an FIR has been lodged in the case and an investigation has been initiated and said all the facts will be verified before making any arrests in connection with the matter.  The Police said that they have the list of the accused persons and they will be questioned for the same. Also, the CCTV footage has been collected from the office where the alleged harassment took place.
